MONTGOMERY, W.Va. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's and men's basketball teams split at West Virginia University Tech today at the Baisi Center.

The Lindsey Wilson women won 92-81 in the opener, while the Blue Raider men fell 72-55 in the nightcap.

Six Blue Raider women scored double figures to lead Lindsey Wilson to the win. With the win, Lindsey Wilson (18-9) remains atop the Mid-South Conference at 6-1 with the win. Tech falls to 13-15 overall and 2-6 in the conference.

Lindsey Wilson senior Krystal Jackson led the Blue Raiders with 18 points while her backcourt running mate senior Kera Gibson chipped in 17 points on5-of-9 three pointers.

Tech senior Keirra Wilkins led the Golden Bears with a game-high 25 points.

In the nightcap, five Golden Bears scored in double figures in the 72-55 win.

West Virginia Tech senior Brent Butler scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Golden Bears (11-13, 2-6) to their second MSC win of the season.

Lindsey Wilson falls to 16-11 on the season and 3-4 in league play as the Blue Raiders made just 7-of-21 free throws and committed 19 turnovers in the loss.

Lindsey Wilson senior Donte' Williams scored a game-high 18 points. Junior George White chipped in 13.

The Lindsey Wilson women and men return to action on Tuesday, February 26, as the Blue Raiders host Campbellsville (Ky.) University at Biggers Sports Center. The doubleheader is a make-up following Thursday's cancellation.
