BURKESVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team finished third on Tuesday at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament.
The Blue Raiders shot 597 (292-305) over the two-day tournament at Dale Hollow Lake State Park. University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) won the event with a team total of 585 (293-292). Indiana Wesleyan University finished second with a 595 (306-289).
Lindsey Wilson freshman Nicolas Navarro led the Blue Raiders with a sixth place finish, making the six-man all-tournament team. Navarro shot a two round total of two-over par 146 (72-74).
Junior Travis Radford finished seventh with a four-over par 148 (71-77). Seniors Carlos Navarro's 150 (74-76) and Abraham Gali's 153 (75-78) was good enough for a tie for ninth and a tie for 19th.
Sophomore Joe Hood rounds out the Blue Raider team with a 164 (78-86).
Freshman Dustin Shearer ended the tied for ninth with a 150 (73-77) and freshman Levi Gordon (163) and sophomore Ross McKen (169) finished tied for 41st and 46th in the 56-man tournament. The trio played as individuals.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Sept. 29-30 as the Blue Raiders travel to the Jack Shadwick Invitational at Cross Creek Plantation in Seneca, S.C.
