BEREA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's cross country team finished third in the Berea (Ky.) College Invitational on Saturday.
The Blue Raiders finished with 98 points. Centre (Ky.) College won the team event with 26 points.
Lindsey Wilson sophomore David Mutuse led the way for the Blue Raiders finishing first overall.
Mutuse ran the 8,000 meter course in 26 minutes and 10 seconds. Mutuse led the entire race and finished nearly one minute ahead of the second place Chase Wilson of Centre College.
Senior Koji Hashiyama finished seventh with a time of 27:34 giving the Blue Raiders a pair inside the top-10.
Sophomore Bradley Bilbro finished the course in a time of 29:09 to finish 18th.
Freshman John Anderson (30:34) and junior Tony Perugini (32:25) finished 31st and 41st respectively to complete the Lindsey Wilson team.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, October 4, as the Blue Raiders travel to Louisville, Ky. for the Greater Louisville Classic.
