COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team finished what it started on Friday with a convincing win over Campbellsville (Ky.) University in the inaugural President's Cup at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson.

The Blue Raiders swept the day by winning the dual featuring the predetermined top five players for each squad.

In the President's Cup -- a match play competition that started with better ball matches on Friday and concluded with 11 singles matches today -- the Blue Raiders defeated Campbellsville 12 1/2 to 3 1/2.

Lindsey Wilson dominated play today winning 8 1/2 of the possible 11 points.

The Blue Raiders completed the two-day competition with the dual win following a team total of 570 (284-286) to win by three strokes over the Tigers. Campbellsville finished with a 573 (287-286).

Campbellsville's Josh Ratterman won the individual title with a two-day total of 136 (67-69). Lindsey Wilson freshman Daron Morris led the Blue Raiders with a total of 138 (68-70) to finish second overall.

The Blue Raiders return to action on Sept. 10-11 as they travel to the University of the Cumberlands Fall Invitational at Crooked Creek Country Club in London, Ky.
