ROME, Ga. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's cross country team finished 22nd at the Southeastern Classic hosted by Berry (Ga.) College on Saturday.
The Blue Raiders finished with 657 team points in the 28-team field. Bryan (Tenn.) College won the event with 58 team points.
Lindsey Wilson sophomore Jordan Green led the Blue Raiders with a 157th place finish over the 8,000-meter course. Green ran the course in 29 minutes and 13 seconds. Freshman Matthew Mattingly crossed the line in 174th with a time of 29:47.
Freshmen Oscar Bormanis had the Blue Raiders' third best time of the event with a 30:13 to finish 184th in the 239-man field. Junior Ricardo Vergara (30:38) and freshman Blake Hendricks (32:27) completes the Blue Raider finishers as the pair crossed the line in 197th and 207th respectively.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Mid-South Conference Championships in Portsmouth, Ohio.
