COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Georgetown (Ky.) College shot 71.2 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from the 3-point line to beat the Lindsey Wilson College men's basketball team 90-66 on Saturday at Biggers Sports Center.

Johonne Hamilton scored 22 points to lead Georgetown, followed by Vic Moses with 18 and Eddie Gray with 17. Hollia Giles also finished in double figures scoring with 16 points on 3-of-4 shooting from behind the arc.

Andrija Tintor finished with 18 points for Lindsey Wilson, while Chase Spreen added 13 on three 3-pointers. Eric McPherson and Kalen Kimberland each added 12 points.

Once Moses hit a layup in the game's first minute to put Georgetown up 2-0, the Blue Raiders were never able to threaten the Tiger lead again. Georgetown's largest lead was 26, registered in the second half after a field goal by Hamilton in the paint.

Georgetown led by double figures the entire second half, much of it by more than 20 points.

A free throw by McPherson with 16:22 to play in the game brought the Blue Raiders within 13 (51-38), but the Tigers responded with a 7-0 run to push their lead to 20.

While Georgetown seemed to not miss a shot, it took away from an impressive shooting performance by the Blue Raiders as well from behind the arc. Lindsey Wilson hit 12-of-24 3-pointers to shoot 50.0 percent. The Blue Raiders, however, shot 42.9 percent from the field.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 8 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 25 against West Virginia Tech at Biggers Sports Center.
