INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Antonio Arriola tied for 18th place overall, shooting a 150 (79-71) to lead the Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team to a tie for 10th place overall at the NAIA Classic at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Blue Raiders combined for a team score of 610, tying with Lindenwood (Mo.) University. Indiana Wesleyan University won the team title with a score of 590, followed by Johnson and Wales (Fla.) University (591) and Lee (Tenn.) University in a tie for second place overall.
Joe Hood, who led the Blue Raiders after day one, finished second on the team and in a tie for 32nd overall with a score of 153 (76-77). Nicolas Navarro also finished in a tie for 32nd place with scores of (79-74).
Trey Wilkerson was the next Blue Raider finisher, carding a 154 (78-76) over the two-day event to finish 39th overall. Chaz Giles tied for 74th place overall with a 168 (86-82).
Nathan Leonhardt of Johnson and Wales took the individual title at the classic shooting a 141 (69-72)
Men's golf is back in action on April 26-27 in the Mid-South Conference Championship at the Cherry Blossom Golf Club in Georgetown, Ky.
