GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- After teeing off at 6 a.m. CT to finish a suspended second round and battling a steady rain most of the day, the Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team finished second on Tuesday at the Mid-South Conference Championship at Cherry Blossom Golf Club.
Play was halted midway through the second round due to inclement weather on Monday, leaving 27 holes to play on Tuesday for the men's field.
University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) took the team title with 876 total team strokes, while the Blue Raiders finished just behind with 878 strokes. Host Georgetown (Ky.) College (912) and Campbellsville (Ky.) University (924) finished third and fourth, respectively.

Morris and Arriola shared the MSC Freshman of the Year honor, while Hood, Morris and Arriola were all named to the all-conference team. Navarro was an honorable mention all-conference selection.
Players earned the conference honors by taking the five best scores of the seven conference rounds played during the season.
With the runner-up finish at the conference championship, Lindsey Wilson must wait for the final NAIA national rankings to see if it is selected for an at-large bid to the NAIA National Championship on May 18-21 at the TPC at Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
