MCDERMOTT, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team finished its second and final round of Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament exactly where they started to earn a runner-up finish at Elks Country Club.

The Blue Raiders finished the two-day tournament with a team-total of 605 (305-300) to finish behind tournament winner University of the Cumberlands. The Patriots finished with a 587 (299-288) after shaving 11 strokes off their first-round total.

Georgetown College finished third with a 613 (309-304) and St. Catharine College ended in fourth with a 617 (313-304). Campbellsville University, host Shawnee State University, University of Pikeville and UVa.-Wise completes the standings of the eight-team field.

With its win, Cumberlands leads the chase for the MSC regular season title with a 7-0 record. Lindsey Wilson is second at 6-1.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Nathan Clark led the Blue Raiders with a two-day total of 144 (74-70). Clark fired a two-under par 70 today -- tied for the best round of the day -- to finish one stroke behind Cumberlands' Eli Towery who shot a 143 (72-71).

For his finish, Clark earned all-tournament honors reserved for the top-five scores.

Blue Raider senior Nicolas Navarro carded a 148 (75-73) to tie for seventh while freshman Nathan Hincks ended in a tie for ninth with a 151 (75-76). Hincks and Towery each played as individuals during the event.

Lindsey Wilson freshman Grayson Bills backed up yesterday's 78 with another six-over round to finish tied for 23rd with a 156. Senior Chris Lewis ended the tournament tied for 30th with a 159 (78-81) while junior Daron Morris finished tied for 39th with a 165 (86-79).

Lindsey Wilson closes out the fall season on Oct.17-18 as the Blue Raiders travel to the St. Catharine Invitational at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood in Bardstown, Ky.
