COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College's Sharon Ronoh is the Mid-South Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, for the award period ending Sept. 11, conference officials announced on Monday.

The weekly conference honor is the first of the season for Ronoh.

Ronoh recorded a top-five finish at the Queen City Invitational to earn MSC Women's Runner of Week honors.

The Timboroa, Kenya native was the top NAIA woman finisher over the 5,000-meter course. Ronoh finished fourth out of 135 women with a time of 18 minutes and 31 seconds.

The junior's finish helped the Blue Raiders earn an eighth-place finish in the 15-team field.

The next MSC Runner of the Week awards are scheduled to be announced on Monday, Sept. 19.
