HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -  The Lindsey Wilson women's cross county traveled to Jacksonville State this morning to compete in the Southern Showcase. 

The women's team placed 16th among 27 schools that ran in the open 5k. Lindsey Wilson tallied 407 points, finishing with a time of 1:50:14 and an average time of 22:02. Alabama A&M finished first with 48 points, while Pima CC finished runner-up with 72 points.

Grace Seeley continued her strong freshman-year campaign, placing 31st with a career-best time of 20:18.2. Lily Farr secured 51st, finishing with a career-best 20.58.9. Ruby DeAtley crossed the finish line in 22:08.5. Maddie Buford finished with a time of 23:21.7 to place 131st, Autumn Price was close behind in 133rd place with a career-best 23:26.8. Addison Williford finished in 151st place (25:15.7). Allison Latham finished with a career-best 25:30.4.

The Blue Raiders have a week off before making their way to Louisville, Kentucky, for the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic on October 3rd.
