WILMINGTON, Ohio – Led by John-Paul Williamson's 22nd-place finish, the Lindsey Wilson College men's cross country team finished 23rd at the Wilmington College Fall Classic on Friday.
Williamson led all Blue Raiders with a time of 25 minutes and 52.58 seconds. Garry Korrir was next across the line with a finish in the top 150, taking 131st place with a time of 27:36.91.
Ashland's Brian Baum captured the individual title with a showing of 24:56.24 as his team also took the overall championship with 28 points and four harriers in the top 10. Berea (Ky.) took second place and Cumberlands (Ky.) wrapped up the top three.
Lindsey Wilson is back on a course for the regular-season finale at 10 a.m. CT on Oct. 20 in the Southeastern Classic in Berea, Ky. The Mid-South Conference Championships follow in Rio Grande, Ohio on Nov. 3.
