MIDWAY, Ky. – Maria Cozzens finished seventh overall to lead the Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team at the Midway (Ky.) College Invitational on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders posted 92 team points to finish fourth in the five-team field. Brescia (Ky.) University won the team title with 32 points.

Cozzens crossed the finish line with a time of 21 minutes and 14 seconds. Allyson Davis ended just outside the top 10 with a 12th place finish and a time of 21:55.

Brescia's Embra Hawkins won the event by breaking the tape in 20:36.

The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday, Nov. 9 for the Mid-South Conference Championships hosted by the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio.
