RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- Lindsey Wilson College women's cross country placed fifth today at the Mid-South Conference Championships hosted by Rio Grande (Ohio).

The Blue Raiders scored 133 team points -- just nine points from fourth in the nine-team event.

Shawnee State captured the team title with 22 team points as the Bears placed seven harriers inside the top 10. Cumberlands finished runner-up with 50 points.

Maria Cozzens led the Blue Raiders with a time of 20 minutes and 48 seconds over the 5,000-meter course. She finished 19th overall and earned 16 points towards the Blue Raiders' team total.

Allyson Davis crossed the finish line in 22nd place with a time 21:07. Amanda Bland (22:38) ended in 39th, Reini Brickson (23:02) finished 44th and Kate Davis (23:08) finished in 45th place in the 71-woman field.

Shawnee State's Sarah Biehl won the individual title in 18:27.
