MASON, Ohio -- Lindsey Wilson men's cross country opened its 2013 season today with an 11th place finish at the 32nd annual Queen City Invitational hosted by Xavier (Ohio) University.

John-Paul Williamson led the Blue Raiders with a fourth place finish in the 154-man event. Williamson crossed the finish line in 15 minutes and nine seconds -- 11 seconds off the winning pace set by Northern Kentucky University's J.J. Webber.

Garry Korir posted a 55th place finish with a time of 16:18 for the Blue Raiders while Cody Hymer ended in 135th position after a run of 17:29.

As a team, the Blue Raider harriers posted 317 points in the 15-team event. University of Indianapolis won the event with 58 team points.

The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Berea (Ky.) College Invitational in Berea, Ky.
