BARDSTOWN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team finished atop the leaderboard at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament on Tuesday with a final, two-round score of 610 (308-302) at the Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.

After a first round on Monday that saw the Blue Raiders trail leader Emmanuel (Ga.) by three strokes, Lindsey Wilson closed out play with a second-round team score of 302. In the 15-team field, the Blue Raiders edged runner-up Cumberlands (Ky.) by a single stoke. The Patriots finished with a two-round 611 (312-299).

Oliver Cowl led the tournament wire to wire after an opening-round 72 on Monday, which he followed with a 3-over par 75 on day two to finish at 147 to secure the individual title.

Cowl finished three strokes ahead of Cumberlands' Martin Jacobsson (150; 75-75) and Campbellsville's (Ky.) Michael Newton (150; 79-71).

Joining Cowl in the top ten for Lindsey Wilson were Federico Navarro (80-74) and Ryan Nowe (79-75) as each ended play with 10-over par 154s to place in a three-way tie for ninth.

Nathan Hincks shot a 6-over par 78 in the second round to close out with a 156 (78-78), which put him in a tie for 16th. Jordan Hagan tied for 19th with a final score of 157 (79-78).

Competing as an individual, Clayton Bradshaw concluded the tournament tied for 16th with a 156 (79-77).

The men's golf team finishes the fall season with four tournament victories overall. The Blue Raiders resume play in the spring of 2015.
