PORSTMOUTH, Ohio – The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team wrapped up the 2014 season with a fifth-place finish at the Mid-South Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
Lindsey Wilson accumulated 121 total points and a combined team time of 1:44:25 at the nine-team, 62-person event.
A pair of Blue Raiders turned in top-20 finishes, led by Elena Oslund's 15th place with a time of 20:08. Shortly behind her was Maria Cozzens who clocked in at 20:18 in 18th place.
Kaylin Anderson was the next Blue Raider to finish, crossing the line in 21:11 in 28th place, followed immediately by Ally Davis in 29th place at 21:14.
Christiana Thompson was the final Lindsey Wilson harrier to score points as she finished in 31st place with a time of 21:39.
Abbie Chandler placed 34th at 22:01 and Breana Conway took 37th with a time of 22:21.
Shawnee State (Ohio) won the nine-team event with a score of 26 points and final team time of 1:35:26. Cumberlands (Ky.) took second at 1:37:27 and 51 points, followed Georgetown (Ky.) in third with 94 points and a 1:42:03 finish.
Campbellsville (Ky.) took fourth with 117 points and a 1:43:57 final time followed by Lindsey Wilson.
Danielle Hoop of Cumberlands finished as the top individual with a time of 18:10. Shawnee State's Sarah Biehl finished second (18:39) followed by Georgetown's Tayler Godar.
