COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team finished in first place at the Blue Raider Classic held at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson on Tuesday.

Both the Lindsey Wilson "A" and "B" teams posted a two-day total 564 to tie for first place at the par-71 event.

The Blue Raider "A" team of Federico Navarro, Oliver Cowl, Alex Durham, Ryan Nowe and Jordan Hagan all posted opening round 70s (280), before posting a final round 284 for their 564.

The Blue Raider "B" team of Jonathon Grabara, Nathan Hincks, Zach Madewell, Clayton Bradshaw and Jake Wall opened the tournament with an 11-under par 273, but posted a 7-over par 291 on the final day for their 564.

Navarro, Cowl and Grabara all finished with 139 in a tie for third while Hincks finished with a 140 in sixth place. All four players were named to the all-tournament team.

Durham finished in seventh place while Madewell took eighth and Bradshaw finished tied for ninth to round out the top-10 finishes for Lindsey Wilson.

The 2-under par 69 by Navarro and Cowl along with Union's Tom Scott marked the low round of the day.

Union (Ky.) finished as the team runner-up after recording a 568 (284-284) in the two-day tournament. Bryan (Tenn.) took third with a 577 (288-289), followed by Reinhardt (Ga.) with a 588 (290-298).

Reinhardt's Brandon Price took home medalist honors after defeating Union's Scott in a two-hole playoff. Both players were tied with a two-round score of 138 before Price won the event on the second-playoff hole.

The men's golf team returns to action when they head to the Skyhawk Classic on Oct. 6-7 in Paris, Tennessee.
