OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team completed the Fast Cats Classic on Saturday with an eighth-place overall finish.

The Blue Raiders accumulated 201 total team points in the field of 13 institutions.

Maria Cozzens provided the best Lindsey Wilson finish on the day, crossing the line in 19:21.9 to take 17th place individually in the field of 120 runners.

The next Blue Raiders finished closely behind one another. Allyson Davis and Heather Wilson clocked in at 21:00.0 and 21:00.1 to take 53rd and 57th place, respectively.

Breana Conway and Abbie Chandler were the final Blue Raider harriers to score points for Lindsey Wilson. Conway took 64th with her time of 21:31.2 while Chandler placed 86th with a time of 22:34.2 to complete the squad.

Bellarmine (Ky.) took home the team victory with just 27 overall points. Trevecca Nazarene's (Tenn.) Caroline Hampton won the individual race with a time of 18:14.2.

Lindsey Wilson is back in action on Oct. 24 for the Asbury (Ky.) Invitational.
