BARDSTOWN, Ky. -- Five Blue Raiders finished in the top 10 to help the Lindsey Wilson men's golf team claim their second-straight Mid-South Conference Championship at the Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.

Lindsey Wilson posted a three-day total 892 (294-295-303) to win by 15 strokes over second-place Cumberlands (Ky.) -- who shot a 907 (289-310-308).

With the win, the Blue Raiders earn the conference's automatic bid into next month's NAIA National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Chris Butler took home medalist honors after firing the only sub-par round of the day. The second-round leader continue his strong play in blustery conditions with three birdies and just two bogeys on his way to a 1-under par 71. He captured the tournament title with a 217 (73-73-71).

Butler played tremendous on the front nine carding a 2-under par before a 1-over on the back nine, completing the round with birdies on holes four, nine and 18. He finished with 39 pars at the tournament, the most of any player.

Federico Navarro ended in second with a three-day total 221 (73-74-74). He recorded 11 pars in his final round, adding three birdies. His 10 birdies were the second most in the field and he added 34 total pars.

Oliver Cowl finished tied for fifth while Ryan Nowe and Nathan Hincks tied for 10th to complete the Blue Raider squad.

Despite suffering his worst round at the tournament, Cowl (230; 75-73-82) still finished the championships with 13 total birdies, the most of any player in the 45-man field.

Nowe (233; 82-75-76) soared up the leaderboard 10 spots with his 4-over par on the final day. He completed the round with 13 pars.

Hincks (233; 73-76-84) finished at 2-over on the front nine holes, but ran into trouble on the back nine dropping nine strokes on the 15th and 16th holes alone to slip to 12-over for the round. Hincks played the par-5s well, finishing at 3-under for the tournament, the best score by any player.

Jonathon Grabara (240; 79-86-75), playing as an individual, saved his best round for the final day of the tournament carding a 3-over par 75. He finished even-par on the front nine holes and totaled a pair of birdies in the round.

As a team, Lindsey Wilson finished the par-5s with a team score of 9-under, the lone team to finish under par. The Blue Raiders also totaled 162 pars and 40 birdies, the most of any squad in the eight-team tournament.

Following the tournament, conference officials handed out its all-conference honors. The two all-conference teams are based on the three Mid-South sponsored tournaments throughout the year with each individual using his top five scores in the seven rounds.

Butler earned MSC Player of the Year honors in the conference with the lowest five-round total while Cowl took home MSC Freshman of the Year honors.

The pair was joined by Navarro as first-team all-conference performers. Nowe earned a spot of the all-conference second team.

The Blue Raiders now begin preparations for the NAIA National Championship Tournament scheduled for May 19-22 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
