ST. LOUIS – Nikki Coffey and Heather Wilson posted top-10 finishes as the Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished in second place as a team at the St. Louis Fall Classic, hosted by the St. Louis College of Pharmacy at Forest Park.

Coffey finished as the runner-up at the event with a time of 19 minutes and 2.4 seconds in the women's 5k race, just 20 seconds behind event winner Torri Holder from College of the Ozarks (Mo.).

Four spots behind Coffey, Wilson cross the line in 19:51.1 to capture sixth place.

Kaylin Anderson was the next highest Blue Raider finisher as she took 32nd with a time of 21:01.4. Two spots behind her was Mia Cornette in 34th with a time of 21:13.8. Breana Conway and Taylor Jones finished 37th and 38th, respectively. Conway crossed the line in 21:18.7, followed by Jones at 21:24.5.

Baylee Shepherd captured 59th place at 22:33.0 while Abbie Chandler completed the team in 63rd place at a time of 22:46.2 out of the field of 88.

As a team, the Blue Raiders totaled 108 team points taken from the top five Lindsey Wilson harriers. Evangel (Mo.) took home the team title with 101 points. Missouri Baptist finished in third behind the Blue Raiders with a total of 114.

Next up for Lindsey Wilson is the Mid-South Conference Championship in Bowling Green, Kentucky scheduled for Nov. 5.
