OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country turned in a ninth-place finish at the Fast Cats Cross Country Invitational at Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Aaron Osborne led the Blue Raiders, finishing in 15th. Osborne completed the 8k course in 27:11.83, earning a medal for his top-15 finish.
Trajon Hall and Clay Priddy were the Blue Raiders next two finishers at 45th and 49th, respectively. Hall turned in a time of 28:36.83, while Priddy crossed the finish line at 28:46.08.
Caleb Watson, Ben Hoffman, Jonathan Long and Marcus Terrell rounded out Lindsey Wilson's contingent.
Tiffin (Ohio) senior James Ngandu won the men's race with a time of 24:41.16.
Bellermine (Ky.) won the men's team competition with 65 points. Centre (Ky.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) finished in second and third, respectively. The Blue Raiders compiled 210 total points.
In addition to the main competition, Lindsey Wilson was six in the chase for the Kentucky Cup Trophy, awarded to the meet's top finisher from Kentucky. Bellermine also captured the Kentucky Cup.
The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team returns to action on Oct. 22 at the St. Louis Fall Classic.
