ELSAH, Ill. – Nikki Coffey finished in 108th place as an individual at the NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships on Saturday at North Farm Cross Country Course.
Coffey finished the championship event in 18 minutes and 52.19 seconds in the 5K women's race out of the 344 total harriers. Coffey improved from her 165th-place finish at last year's championship race.
British Columbia took home the 2016 team national championship, edging out second-place Northwest Christian (Ore.) and third-place Biola (Calif.).
Oklahoma City's Aminat Olowora took home the individual national title after her time of 16:24.28 set a new national championship program record.
