BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished third at the Mid-South Conference Championships at Phil Moore Park on Saturday.
Nikki Coffey finished in fifth place with a time of 18 minutes and 50.5 seconds. Coffey qualified for the NAIA National Championships, as she was one of the top four individuals not on the winning team to receive an automatic bid.
Heather Wilson finished in 17th running a 20:09.3 and was just 1.7 seconds out of 16th-place. Kaylin Anderson's 20:41.7 was good enough for 25th. Breana Conway ran a 21:13.9 to finish 31st.
Allyson Davis finished in 33rd with a time of 21:15.33, Taylor Jones ran a 21:39.3 to finish 39th, Mia Cornette finished in 49th-place running a 22:21.9.
Baylee Shepherd finished with a time of 22:31.2 in 51st and rounding out the Blue Raider runners was Abbie Chandler who finished in 57th with a time of 23:22.6.
Shawnee State won both the team title and the individual title as Anna Havranek finished with a time of 18:17.3.
Coffey along with Shawnee State's (Ohio) Havranek, Alyssa Taylor, Megan Ashton, Kate Spencer, Shaniah Begley and Cumberlands' (Ky.) Madison Pearce were all named First Team All Mid-South Conference. The next seven finishers earned Second Team All Conference.
The NAIA National Championships take place on Nov. 19 in Elsah, Illinois.
