CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Lindsey Wilson men's cross country posted a seventh-place finish today in the 10-team Austin Peay State (Tenn.) Cross Country Festival at the Hillsdale Baptist Family Life Center.
Lindsey Wilson -- one of two NAIA teams in the field of mostly NCAA squads -- scored 174 team points. Memphis (Tenn.) won the event with 39 team points.
Trajon Hall produced the top time of the day for a Lindsey Wilson harrier. He crossed the finish line in 23 minutes and 28 seconds over the four-mile course. Hall finished 33rd overall in the 89-man field.
Jonathan Long finished on Hall's heels, posting a 35th-place finish with a time of 23:35. Nine seconds later, Aaron Osborne completed the race in 41st place.
Clay Priddy (24:03) and Marcus Terrell (24:56) finished 48th and 61st respectively. Ben Hoffman's 24:59 was good enough for 62nd while Trevor Shearer ended in 66th with a 25:36.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Oct. 8 at the Fast Cats Cross Country Invitational hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan in Owensboro.
