OWENSBORO, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country finished 11th today at the Fast Cats Invite hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan at Yellow Creek Park.
The Blue Raiders scored 236 points while averaging a time of 21 minutes and 32 seconds over the 5,000-meter course.
Mia Cornette led the Blue Raiders finishing 26th in the 113-woman field. She crossed the finish line in 20:23. Breana Conway nearly broke the 21-minute barrier, ending in 46th at 21:04.
Kaylin Anderson posted a time of 21:12 to finish 50th while Dezare Jackson ended in 59th with a time 21:41. Taylor Jones was the final Blue Raider to score, posting a time of 23:20 to end in 89th. Jenniser Rivera finished 103rd in 25:26.
Centre (Ky.) won the 12-team event with a team score of 32 points. Centre's Annie Rodenfels won the race in 17:48.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 21, as the Blue Raiders travel to the St. Louis Fall Classic in St. Louis, Missouri.
