OWENSBORO, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson men's cross country posted a ninth-place finish today at the Fast Cats Invite hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan at Yellow Creek Park.
Lindsey Wilson recorded 233 team points while averaging a time of 28 minutes and 53 seconds over the 8,000-meter course.
Berea (Ky.) won the team title with a score of 72 points.
Levi Owens and Trajon Hall each broke 28 minutes to lead the Blue Raiders.
Owens crossed the finish line in 27:36 to end in 26th in the 140-man field. Hall ended in 33rd with a time of 27:52.
Caleb Watson and Marcus Terrell finished 12 seconds apart to post finishes of 60th and 66th. Watson crossed the line in 29:08 while Terrell posted 29:20. Chase Williams was the final Blue Raider post a time towards the team total. He ran the course in 30:31, good enough for 83rd.
Austin Mattingly (31:01) and Clay Priddy (31:42) ended in 95th and 106th, respectively.
Berea's Logan McKenzie won the race with a time of 25:16.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 21, as the Blue Raiders travel to the St. Louis Fall Classic in St. Louis, Missouri.
