INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 19-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's golf team shot a 19-over par 307 on Tuesday to finish the Wildcat Cup in fourth place.
The Blue Raiders ended the two-day event at 31-over 607 (302-307) at the par-72, 6,994-yard Brickyard Crossing. Taylor (Ind.) won the team competition at 13-over 589 after firing a 2-under 286 on Tuesday.
Grand View (Iowa) and Bellevue (Neb.) both finished ahead of Lindsey Wilson. Grand View was the runner-up at 25-over 601 (296-305), while Bellevue edged out the Blue Raiders by two shots at 31-over 607 (303-304).
Rasmus Broholt Lind was Lindsey Wilson's highest finisher as he ended in a two-way tie for ninth place at 5-over 149 (74-75).
Cody Mingus finished in a six-place tie for 25th after carding 5-over 77 on consecutive days for a two-day total of 10-over 154.
Federico Navarro and Frederik Willer tied for 31st at 11-over 155. Navarro followed a first-day 3-over 75 with 8-over 80 on Tuesday. Willer shot 76-79 across both days of play.
Alex Durham rounded out the Blue Raiders at 12-over 156 (80-76), finishing in a six-way tie for 37th place.
Cumberlands' (Ky.) Ben Kendrick won the individual competition at 3-under 141 (69-72). Kendrick was the lone individual to finish the tournament under par.
The Blue Raiders return to action on April 24 for the opening round of the Mid-South Conference Championship at the Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
