SILVIS, Ill. – Rasmus Broholt Lind saw his freshman campaign come to a close on Thursday as he missed the cut by one stroke at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship held at TPC Deere Run.
Following the completion of the second round, which was halted on Wednesday evening due to weather and resumed on Thursday morning, the top 17 teams and top 40 individuals survived the cut line.
Lind, who carded a 6-over par 77 during the second round at the par-71, 6,651-yard course, sat with a two-day total 155 (78-77) in a tie for 43rd place. The final individuals to make the cut carded a 154 over the two days and were tied for 38th place.
Lind ends his first collegiate golf season with a pair of individual victories, along with Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year and All-MSC First Team honors.
