ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Lindsey Wilson men's golf shot the low round of the day to climb four spots up the leaderboard to finish sixth at the Georgetown (Ky.) Invite played at the Slammer and Squire Course at the World Golf Village.
After posting a 311 yesterday, the Blue Raiders fired a 292 today to end the two-day tournament with a team-total 603. No. 5-ranked Coastal Georgia won the 13-team event with a 579 (279-300). No. 3 Dalton State (Ga.) and No. 16 Southeastern (Fla.) tied for second with 585s.
Rasmus Broholt Lind shot an even-par 72 today -- tying for the third best round of the day. Coupled with his 71 on Monday, Lind posts a 1-under par 143 to tie for second place in the 69-man field.
Lind was one of three Blue Raiders to shoot even-par or better today.
Callum Blinkhorn tied for the best round of the day with a 1-under par 71 -- his eighth sub-par round of the season. Blinkhorn climbed 18 spots into the top 10, finishing tied for ninth with a two-day total 147 (76-71).
Jeremiah Hayes matched Lind with a 72 today. He trimmed nine shots off yesterday's total to move up a tournament-best 25 spots today into a tie for 31st. Hayes completed the tournament with a two-day total 153 (81-72).
Cody Mingus and Colby White finished 56th and 59th respectively. Mingus shot a 162 (85-77) while White recorded a 164 (83-81).
Southeastern's Carlos Ardila earned medalist honors with a 3-under par 141 (70-71).
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on March 12-13 as the Blue Raiders travel to the Carey Collegiate Classic at the Canebreak Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
