OLD HICKORY, Tenn. -- Callum Blinkhorn won for the fourth time this season at the Phoenix Invitational hosted by Cumberland (Tenn.) at Old Hickory Country Club.
The Blue Raiders finished fifth as a team in the 13-team tournament.
Blinkhorn -- who was tied for the lead after yesterday's opening round -- once again matched the low round of the day in today's final round. He posted a two-day total of 3-under par 139 (69-70) to win by two strokes.
Blinkhorn matched his four-birdie performance from yesterday, including posting three birdies on the back nine to win. He has finished in the top-10 in all eight tournaments he has competed in this season.
Callum Burns also posted a top-10 finish. He shot 75 today to complete the tournament in a tie for seventh place in the 70-man field with a 146 (71-75). The top-10 is Burns first of the season.
As a team, Lindsey Wilson shot a two-day total of 593 (298-295). Martin Methodist (Tenn.) won the tournament with a 584 (291-293).
Jeremiah Hayes tied for 29th with a 151 (77-74), Morgan Grace tied for 45th with a 157 (81-76), and Etienne Rensburg ended in a tie for 55th with a 161 (82-79) to round out the Blue Raider team.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on April 13-14 at the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament at Shawnee Golf Resort in Friendship, Ohio.
