Immediately following the conclusion of the final round, the all-conference teams were announced. To be in contention the individual must compete in five of the seven rounds throughout the season.
Blinkhorn was named the MSC Men's Golfer of the Year for his performance this season. He shot under-par in six-of-seven rounds this season as his only non-under par round came during his even-par round today to close out the championship. The sophomore dominated MSC play as he averaged just 68.7 strokes a round for 481 total strokes. He finished the season 27 strokes ahead of his next closest MSC opponent.
Callum Burns finished alone in 17th place with a 235 (77-81-77) for the championship as he finished five over on the final day after finding just one birdie. Morgan Grace finished just behind in a tie for 18th with a three day total of 236 (83-75-78). Etienne Rensburg finished in 30th with a 241 for the championship as Cody Mingus carded a 244. Steven McGowan competed at the event as an individual and posted a three-round total of 239 strokes to finish in 25th place.
Blinkhorn's result at the conference championship gives him an automatic qualifying bid into the 2019 National Championship in Mesa, Arizona on May 21-24 as an individual. The men's team will have to wait to see if they earn an at-large bid into the championship field that is scheduled to be released on May 9.
