CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson men's golf shot a team-total 303 today to finish runner-up at the Campbellsville (Ky.) Fall Invite at the Campbellsville Country Club.
Callum Burns led the Blue Raiders with a 1-over par 73. He carded one of the four eagles during the round and three birdies en route to a tie for second in the 51-man field.
Two other Blue Raiders posted top-10 finishes during the one-day tournament -- Emil Gruhn tied for sixth while Janik Hawlitzky ended in a tie for eighth. Gruhn joined Burns with three birdies to post a 3-over par 75 over the 7,030-yard layout. Hawlitzky finished two back with a 5-over par 77.
Sebastian Sandin and Jeremiah Hayes complete the Blue Raider squad, finishing in a tie for 16th and 24th, respectively. Sandin carded a pair of birdies en route to a 6-over 78 while Hayes posted a 10-over 82.
Four Blue Raiders competed as individuals during the tournament.
Evan Kidd joined Sandlin in a tie for 16th with a 78. Blake Biggs tied for 38th with an 89 while Shane Henderson finished 47th with a 94. Chase Carpenter ended in 50th with a 101.
Campbellsville captured the team tournament with a 292 while Campbellsville's Justin Warman won the individual title with a 2-under par 70.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on October 26-27 at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Ky.
