WILMORE, Ky. – Meredith Johnson picked up her third straight individual victory as the Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team claimed their first win of the season at the Chick-Fil-A invite on Saturday afternoon.

Johnson crossed the finish line with a time of 19 minutes and 27.81 seconds. She was the only competitor to finish under the 20-minute mark as the victory is the third of her career.

Laura Cuin took sixth place with a time of 20:56.59. Three Blue Raiders then finished the race consecutively as Kayla Roeder took eighth place with a time of 21:04.21, Dezare Jackson took ninth at 21:07.59 and Kaylee Masden took 10th at 21:08.81.

Kirsten Crepps took 14th place when she managed a time of 21:28.56 while Macey Wilson finished just behind in 15th with a time of 21:29.94. Sarah Burton finished in 18th place at 21:40.69 as Alyssa Sharp rounded out the top-20 in 20th with a race of 21:46.09.

Of the seven teams at the competition, the Blue Raiders were the only squad to finish with an average time under 21 minutes. LWC averaged a time of 20:45.01 for the invitational.
