WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Lindsey Wilson women's cross-country team finished in ninth place in the Jenna Strong Invitational on Friday evening.
The Blue Raiders finished with a score of 274 and an average time of twenty-one minutes and three seconds.
Meredith Johnson was the first Lindsey Wilson runner to cross the finish line, placing 23rd with a time of 20:00.6.
Other notable finishes were Kayla Roeder in 43rd (20:47.2), Lotte Gertler placing 46th (20:52.2), Kaylee Masden in 95th (21:40.2), Macey Wilson finishing in 101st (21:50), Laura Cuin at 105th (21:56.2), Annabelle Walker in 116th (22:08.4), Zoe Wilson placing 153rd (23:02.2), Cady Schoeck at 154th (23:02.4), Kirsten Crepps in 193rd (24:37.5), Eliza Hagens in 210th (25:35.4), and Jamie Moses placing 212th (25:39.8).
The Lindsey Wilson women's cross-country team returns to action in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on Oct. 23 in Grand Rapids, Mich. The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT.
