ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team finished in seventh place at the AAC Fall Championship following today's final round of play. The Blue Raiders concluded the event with a 935 (317-306-312).
The event was played at Barnsley Gardens Resort, a par-72, 6,992-yard design. In total, 15 teams and 92 individuals are competed at the event.
Callum Burns wrapped up his final round of play with 2-over-par 74 to finish at 226 (77-75-74). His final round was his best of the weekend and improved his position on the leaderboards four spots. Emil Gruhn moved two spots to 23rd place following a 231 (75-79-77). Janik Hawlitzky jumped up five more spots to finish tied for 35th after a 236 (86-73-77).
Alfie Yearsley finished his rounds with a 248 (85-79-84) in 65th as Etienne Rensburg dropped to tied for 81st place following 262 (80-89-93).
John Houk of Tennessee Wesleyan won the event with a 208 (71-67-70). He was the only player to finish under par – at eight-under – after played all three rounds under par. Dalton State (Ga.) won the team title with 891 (297-290-304) across their first two rounds.
The Blue Raiders now turn their attention to the Mid-South Conference Fall Championship on Nov 1-2 at Bowling Green Country Club.
