BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished fourth at the Mid-South Conference championships this afternoon.
The Blue Raiders scored 106 points, falling behind third-place Campbellsville (Ky.) who scored 99 points, and second-place Shawnee State (Ohio) who scored 98 points. Cumberlands (Ky.) won the event with 55 points.
Meredith Johnson had the top finish for the Blue Raiders with a time of 20:37.8, securing a ninth-place and earning first-team all-conference honors.
Alyssa Sharp recorded a time of 21:25.9 to secure a 17th place finish, while Annabelle Walker put in a time of 21:34.3 for the 22nd place finish. Laura Cuin-Casimiro was the fourth Blue Raider to cross the finish line with a time of 21:38.5 and a 27th place finish.
Kaylee Masden recorded a time of 21:57.8 to finish 31st, while Kirsten Crepps notched a finishing time of 22:06.0 for the 34th place finish. Dezare Jackson finished the race just behind Crepps with a time of 22:11.3. Kayla Roeder crossed the finish line at 22:25.9 for 37th, Lotte Gertler finished with a final time of 23:12.6 for 45th, and Macey Wilson finished with a time of 23:16.6 for 48th.
Elsa Diaz took 62nd with a time of 24:39.1 with Cady Schoeck and Shelby Henley took 68th and 69th place with times above 26 minutes.
The NAIA national championships for women's cross country will take place on April 9th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
