BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team finished third at the Mid-South Conference championships this afternoon.
The Blue Raiders scored 82 points, behind second-place Campbellsville (Ky.) who scored 65 points, and winners Shawnee State (Ohio) who scored 24 points.
Levi Owens had the top finish for the Blue Raiders with a time of 27:50.1, securing a fifth-place finish and earning first-team all-conference honors.
Jim Headrick recorded a time of 28:51.6 to secure a 14th place finish and second-team all-conference honors, while Mike Schonter followed just behind with a time of 28:54.2 for the 15th place finish and second-team all-conference honors. Jordan Tucker rounded out the top 20 with a time of 29:06.6 and second-team all-conference honors.
Victor Clark recorded a time of 29:43.2 to finish 31st, while Logan Bullock notched a finishing time of 30:46.9 for the 43rd place finish. Noah Brown crossed the line with a time of 31:00.2 to finish 48th and Nolan Foushee crossed the finish line at 31:28.2 for 55th. Mason Stogsdill finished with a final time of 32:24.0 for 63rd, and Austin Mattingly finished with a time of 33:30.7 for 74th.
Harley Waters took 76th with a time of 33:57.2 while Cody Johnson finished 84th with a time of 35:42.4.
The NAIA national championships for men's cross country will take place on April 9th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
