BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Alyssa Sharp finished fifth with a time of twenty minutes and eight point eight seconds this evening as the Lindsey Wilson women's cross-country team placed third out of six competing Mid-South Conference schools to open the season.

The Blue Raiders finished the contest with a score of 99, falling behind Campbellsville (Ky.) who scored 48 points to take second place. Cumberlands (Tenn.) placed first in the contest, finishing with 34 total points.

Lotte Gertler placed 21st with a time of 21:20.6. A few spots below her was Kayla Roeder and Macey Roeder finishing with a times of 21:34.1 and 21:46.6 at 25th and 26th, respectively.

Other notable finishes for Lindsey Wilson include Olivia Rudder in 34th (22:19.0) and Zoe Wilson in 54th (24:15.7)

The Lindsey Wilson women's cross-country team returns to action on Oct. 2 to compete in the Greater Louisville Classic.
