By the first media timeout, Lindsey Wilson shot 66.7 percent going four of six from beyond the arc to start the game as they held a 20-13 lead over the Bears. The impressive run of play didn't stop there as the Blue Raiders were knocking down just about everything they shot. The Bears held onto a slight four-point lead for much of the half as the Blue Raiders worked to stay in the game. In the final five minutes of play, the Bears opened a 10-point gap in hopes to prevent a Blue Raider comeback. Robinson knocked down two free throws to cut the lead to within six with 12 seconds left in the game and then followed with a three just before the buzzer went but it was too late for a rally as the Blue Raiders dropped their fourth straight 89-92.
