Men's Bowling Takes 13th at Columbia 300 Western Shootout

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lindsey Wilson men's bowling team finished in 13th place at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout over the weekend.

The Blue Raiders scored 8,461 pins across six team games and 16 baker-style scoring matches. Lindsey Wilson managed 5,343 points during the team games and added 3,118 during baker play. LWC broke the 200 mark in six of their baker matches while producing a high of 258 during their 14th match.

Dylan Stringer finished in 47th place with a 186.5 pin average across his six games. He pushed over the 200 mark twice with two games if 201. Brandon Pendley claimed 69th place during his run with a pin average of 181.7 with a high of 221 during his opening round.

Nick Blakey finished in 78th place and had the Blue Raider high round of the event with his 236-pin performance in his opener. He finished with a 178.3-pin average.

Jason Womack averaged 186.8 pins across four games and Peyton Huskey produced an average of 158.8 during his four matches. Patrick Walker bowled the three games as he averaged 175.3 pins while Andy O'Dell took the final round with 156 pins.

Saint Xavier won the event with 9,234 pins and Daniel Chin of McKendree won the individual title with 1,339 pins during his six games.

The Blue Raiders are back in action on Oct. 22-23 when they compete at the Cincinnati Classic in Fairfield, Ohio.
