INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team finished in 19th place at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout over the weekend.
The Blue Raiders scored 7,306 pins across six team games and 16 baker-style scoring matches. Lindsey Wilson managed 4,616 points during the team games and added 2,690 during baker play. LWC broke the 200 mark in three of their baker matches while producing a high of 218 during their 10th match.
Tara Manis posted the best LWC finish in 41st place with a 167.6 pin average and a high of 196 during her fourth round. Jacqueline Oliphant claimed 61st place with a 161.3 average.
Maylee Price took 74th with her average of 154 pins to round out the Blue Raiders who competed in all six games.
Makayla Melson (139-pin average) bowled four games as Chloe Tooley (143-pin average) and Janna Plains (142.6-pin average) bowled three games. Abby Oswald bowled the final two games to average 152.5 pins.
Pikeville won the event with 8,859 pins and Brianna Rogers of Pikeville won the individual title with 1,237 pins during her six games.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Oct. 22-23 when they compete at the Cincinnati Classic in Fairfield, Ohio.
