MURRAY, Ky. – At CFSB Center, the Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team competed in the first of three exhibitions scheduled for the 2022-23 campaign, falling 90-53 to Murray State University.
The Blue Raiders were led offensively by Payton Cundiff's team-high 10 points, followed by eight each from Mark Edmond, Rodney Lewis, and Zerin Malesevic.
All told, the locals outscored the Racers off the bench, 33-22, and finished tied with their opposition with seven second-chance points each.
Edmond paced Lindsey Wilson on the glass, corralling eight rebounds, while Lewis dished out a team-best four assists.
The Blue Raiders resume their regularly scheduled slate on Thursday, November 17 when they begin conference-play at Cumberland University (Tenn.) at 7:30 p.m. CST.
