This matchup began with back and forth physical play between the two teams as Bethel seized control in the first 10 minutes of play, keeping a slight edge over LWC. Around the nine minute mark in the first half, the Blue Raiders took their first lead of the game 27-26 after a three pointer from Cundiff off a pass from Elijah Jordan. The Wildcats were able to stop the Blue Raider run and get some stops to force LWC into a series of bad shots that allowed them to get back in the game. Bethel cut the Lindsey Wilson lead down to four with a minute remaining by their physicality inside the paint that gave them an advantage at the free throw line, 14-11.
