RICHMOND, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf finished tied for first at the Gibson Bay Invite at Gibson Bay Golf Course Tuesday.
The Blue Raiders shot a 10-over par 874 (290-287-297) on the par-72 7,035 yard course to tie with Campbellsville. Lindsey Wilson recorded the most birdies of the tournament with 43 and carded the second-most eagles with two.
Callum Waugh posted the highest individual finish with a 2-under par 214 (71-69-74) to finish third. Waugh carded 11 birdies and one eagle. Milan Reed finished ninth with a 220 (73-73-74) while Rafe Blankenship (73-72-77) and Rio Saigal (73-74-75) finished tied for 13th with a 222.
Toby White finished tied for 20th with a 225 (78-73-74) and also recorded an eagle in the tournament. Briley Sharpe who is competing as an individual finished tied for 28th with a 230 (74-78-78).
The Blue Raiders turn their attention to the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament which begins Monday Oct. 30 at Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Ky.
