Women's Bowling Earns Top 10 Finishes Over the Weekend in Ohio

CENTERVILLE, Ohio – Over the weekend, the Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team hit the lanes for the Union College Classic Orange and Black Tournament.

The Blue Raiders started the two-day outing on Saturday with a sixth-place finish and an average score of 149.4 through 36 baker games.

On Sunday, Lindsey Wilson notched another top-10 placement after bowling a total team score of 3,660 and a baker total of 1,392.

Individually, Tara Manis led the Blue Raiders in 40th place. Her opening game score of 181 was the highest for a Blue Raiders' first game, while Chloe Tooley's 194 in her second game was the highest for the team overall.

Tooley ended up closing in 60th on a 160.5 average, followed by Abigail Oswald (62nd, 152.25), Austyn Raymer (71st, 133.75), Makyla Melson (91st, 133.3) and Janna Plains (97th, 158.5).

Lindsey Wilson continues its season on October 28 in Smyrna, Tennessee for the Music City Classic, then on October 29 in the same city for the Brandon Burns Memorial Classic.
