COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team prepares for a home game against Welch at 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday evening at Biggers Sports Center.
The Blue Raiders (1-4) enter the contest after closing out the Bevo Francis Classic with a loss to host Rio Grande by 84-55. Kenyata Carbon led LWC (1-4) with 17 points while going 4-of-8 from the field and connecting on all eight of his attempts from the charity stripe. Rodney Lewis and Lucas Ribeiro were also in double figures with 11 points apiece.
Welch (1-2) come from a tight game against William Baptist (AR) which ended in a 83-78 loss for the Flames. Three of their players ended the game on double digits, Zaimes Hall led his team with 15 points followed by Draven Smith with 14 and Tyler Erdman with 13 points. Smith led his team in rebounds with five.
This will be the first time both programs face each other. The Blue Raiders will aim to come out on top to bounce back from their three-game losing streak.
