The Blue Raiders (1-2) were led by Rodney Lewis and Matt Khoury who scored a joint 12 points. Lewis was on 3-of-9 shooting and 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Khoury got 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. Johrdon Mumford and Kenyata Carbon were also in double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Carbon grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

Both teams started the game looking even in the initial minutes of the first half as the score was 13-10 in favor of Voorhees with 11:46 to play. From that point, the game took a shift and the Tigers had the edge over the Blue Raiders for a good 5 minute period as they extended their lead to a 25-14 with 6:21 remaining in the half. Lindsey Wilson then gained momentum and started scoring more points to decrease the gap.

A notable run came with 4:40 left and a score of 28-18 as the Blue Raiders went on a 8-0 run, reducing the gap to a 28-25 with 2:25 left. The Tigers then replied to this and went on a 9-0 run, establishing the biggest lead of the game until that point. The half ended with a score of 37-26 in favor of Voorhees.

The teams opened the second half exchanging points, maintaining the gap in the same range for about 3 minutes with a 43-33 lead for the Tigers. Then from the 16:49 mark to the 14:58 Lindsey Wilson went on a 8-2 run, cutting the gap to a 45-41. Voorhees proceeded to regain control of the game and went on a 7-2 run for a 52-43 lead with 13:17 left. From that moment the Tigers put their foot down and extended their lead to a 66-48, the biggest gap of the game until that moment.

The gap was kept in a similar span for a big portion of the half up to 4:37 left, score of 75-61, just as the Blue Raiders entered a great spell of game and started to reduce the lead that Voorhees possessed. Lindsey Wilson went on a 9-2 run with 1:57 left and a score of 77-70. Their efforts to come back were not enough as The Tigers ended the game on a 7-2 run and won 84-72.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CT on November, 11 when they visit IU Kokomo at Rio Grande, Ohio in the Bevo Francis Classic.
