Men's Golf Wins MSC Fall Preview

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team finished first at the Mid- South Conference Fall preview Tuesday afternoon at Bowling Green Country Club.

The Blue Raiders carded a 8-under par 856 (284-285-287) finishing 30 strokes better than runner-up Campbellsville 886(295-292-299).

Other MSC members Cumberlands (Ky.) 894(298-299-297), Bethel (Tenn.) 910(305-292-313), Cumberland (Tenn.) 925( 297-312-316), Georgetown (Ky.) 950 (313-319-318), and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) 973( 319-323-331) rounded out the rest of the tournament.

Lindsey Wilson held four of the top five spots on the leaderboard. Johan Bredenkamp led all golfers by shooting a 5-under 211 (72-70-69). Bredenkamp led the tournament with Par 5s scoring an 8-under while averaging a score of 4.33. Brendkamp was one Birdie behind Toby White with 12 finishing second through the two-day event.

Rio Saigal was second with al 213 (67-72-74), Toby White finished third carding a 216 (76-67-73), and Stanley White tied for fourth with a 217(70-76-71). Polakrit Pawichai 229(74-77-76) finished 16th.

The Blue Raiders finished first in every event except one throughout the fall schedule. Lindsey Wilson breaks for the winter before resuming its season in the spring.
