COLUMBIA, Ky.-- In the Mid-South Conference quarterfinals, 5th-seeded Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team faces 4th-seeded Bethel (Tenn.) in McKenzie for a spot in the semifinals against top-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.).

Lindsey Wilson (3-7-3) enters the match on the heels of a tough 3-2 loss to Campbellsville (Ky.) earlier this week. The Blue Raiders will need to regroup quickly and address both offensive and defensive shortcomings if they hope to challenge the Wildcats, who handed Lindsey Wilson a 2-1 loss earlier this season. A strong attacking performance, paired with a more solid defense, will be essential for a chance at an upset.

Bethel (8-6-0) comes into the match in excellent form following a dominant 6-0 victory over Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) on Tuesday. Six different players found the back of the net, highlighting Bethel's offensive depth. The Wildcats will look to carry that momentum into this matchup, which could test Lindsey Wilson's defense.

The key to this contest will be the battle in the midfield, where both teams can control possession and create scoring opportunities. Bethel's recent form, combined with their home-field advantage, gives them a slight edge heading into this matchup.
